Travelocheck is confident in our ability to offer competitive pricing on flight bookings. Our Price Match Promise demonstrates this confidence: if you find a lower price for an identical itinerary on a qualifying competitor's website, we will match that price. We want you to book with confidence, knowing that you are getting a great deal combined with our personalized customer service and 24/7 support.
Qualifying Competitors
Our Price Match Promise applies to published fares found on the following major online travel agencies:
- Expedia (expedia.com)
- Orbitz (orbitz.com)
- Priceline (priceline.com)
- Travelocity (travelocity.com)
The competing fare must be publicly available on the competitor's website at the time you submit your price match claim. The fare must be bookable by the general public without requiring membership, login, or any special access.
Requirements for a Valid Price Match Claim
To qualify for our Price Match Promise, all of the following conditions must be met:
- Identical Itinerary: The competing fare must be for the exact same itinerary, including the same airline(s), flight number(s), departure and arrival airports, travel dates, and times
- Same Cabin Class: The competing fare must be for the same cabin class (Economy, Premium Economy, Business, or First Class)
- Same Number of Passengers: The fare comparison must be based on the same number of passengers as your Travelocheck booking
- Currently Available: The competing fare must be presently active and available for booking at the time of your claim. Expired, sold-out, or cached fares do not qualify
- Same Fare Type: The competing fare must be the same fare type (refundable vs. non-refundable, basic economy vs. standard economy)
- Total Price Comparison: The price comparison is based on the total price including all taxes and fees. Our service fee is included in the total price comparison
Exceptions
The following types of fares and offers are excluded from our Price Match Promise:
- Membership or Loyalty Fares: Fares available only to members of a specific loyalty program, subscription service, or membership club
- Corporate and Negotiated Fares: Discounted fares available through corporate travel programs, negotiated contracts, or employer-sponsored booking tools
- Special or Promotional Fares: Limited-time promotional fares, flash sales, or fares available only through special coupon codes or promotional links
- Error Fares: Mistakenly published fares that are significantly below market value and are likely to be corrected or cancelled by the airline
- Opaque or Bundled Fares: Fares where the airline or specific flight details are not disclosed until after purchase (such as Priceline's "Express Deals" or Hotwire's "Hot Rate" fares)
- Student, Military, or Senior Discounts: Fares discounted based on age, occupation, or status that require verification
- Airline Direct Offers: Fares available only on an airline's own website or app that are not published through third-party channels
- Currency Discrepancies: Price differences resulting from currency conversion or exchange rate fluctuations
How to Submit a Price Match Claim
- Call Us: Contact our support team at (800) 405-7917 within 24 hours of making your booking with Travelocheck
- Provide Documentation: Be prepared to share the competitor's website URL showing the lower fare, along with the details of the competing itinerary (airline, flight numbers, dates, times, cabin class, and total price)
- Verification: Our team will verify the competing fare in real time to confirm it meets all eligibility requirements
- Price Adjustment: If the claim is approved, we will adjust your booking to match the lower total price. The adjustment will be applied to your original payment method
Processing Timeline
Price match claims are typically reviewed and resolved during the same phone call. Our agents have the tools to verify competing fares in real time and make adjustments immediately. In cases where additional verification is needed, claims will be resolved within 24 to 48 hours. You will be notified of the outcome by phone or email.
Additional Terms
- Price match claims must be submitted within 24 hours of your original booking with Travelocheck
- Only one price match claim is allowed per booking
- The price match applies to the total fare (including taxes and fees), not just the base fare
- Travelocheck reserves the right to verify all claims and deny any claim that does not meet the stated requirements
- This Price Match Promise may be modified or discontinued at any time at the discretion of Evolve FZCO
